Question about Sony MHC-EC50 Shelf System
Where can I get one. it has 3 pin wierd plug at back of boombox.
I want to play Radio AM on it,

if you have lost am and fm it sounds like the antenna connector on the back of the radio has come off, if you find that is the case put it back on and secure it with a strip of tape

the easiest way to replace it is...
find or buy a set of old tv bunny ears. as the stereo has a coax connection for the fm antenna and so does the bunny ears, if you plug them in they will work! most likely better than the original antenna!

Radio Data System does need a good signal. You may need a better antenna. You don't actual say what you have for an antenna! So I can't say it's that. However not all Radio Stations broadcast the track name. And some don't broadcast any names of tracks. Some just tell you the name of the station and something like "all the best music on FM 105".
