Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Texas Instruments TI-5045 SV paper won't advance

The foam on the feed roller is probably decayed/ soft. Which has caused the plastic gear that engages that drive gear to wear. If the gear is moved/ spaced over to pick up the 40% that isn't trashed - it'll feed.

I'm going to try to fix my Goodwill purchase anyway. Anything is better that the Canon piece of rubbish I have now. Mybe someone can tell Canon that a few months of use is not enough?

BATTERIES AND PAPER?

Hi doner

The calc uses AA penlight batteries, you can get them anywhere, service stations, seven eleven, hardware store. It uses standard paper rolls too, you will need to go to an stationary shop, or office supplies, and they will have them, and the batteries too. :) Any problems, I am here to help.
