This sounds as thought one of the lenses have been knocked out of place or moved somehow. The only solution I can see is to have the Telescope serviced by a qualified technician and have the lenses put back in proper alignment.

Your scope has 5 adjustments:
1. Eye piece focus - used to focus on the reticle.
2. windage adjustment - should be on the R side of the scope, adjusts lateral impact point.
3. Vertical adjustment - the top turret. Adjusts vertical point of impact.
4. Power ring - adjusts the magnification of the scope.
5. AO ring - Parralax adjustment - used to focus the scope at specific distances. Most markings are not exact, you should set it at the range you are shooting and fine tune focus when you look through the scope.

The manual focus ring on my camera doesn't work. The ring turns but does not seem to adjust the focus. Automated focusing still works. How to fix it?

Two methods:-

1. Use the slider switch on the left of the camera to set it to MF (manual focus). The focus ring is an electronic one rather than a physical control like the zoom ring, so the response can seem slow.

2 Go into the camera menu and enable DMF (Direct Manual Focus). This allows you to override the autofocus simply by adjusting the focus control, but it does not work if the slider switch is set to the AF C setting (continuous autofocus), it only work in the AF-S (AF only activates once when the shutter is half pressed).

I am having trouble seeing through the 60mm Objective Lens. I'm able to see clearly through the Finderscope. Also how do attach the Barlow and Erecting Lens?

You put the prism into the focuser and then the eyepiece with the largest number written on it. DO NOT USE the 2x barlow until you learn how to focus properly.

Which knob you adjust for drop? What is the left knob for?

If you have 2 knobs, there should be no left knob. If you have a knob on the left, you have it mounted 90 degrees out of alignment. Loosen the rings and turn it 90 degrees clockwise. Once you do that, the knob on the top is the one you will use for elevation.

If you have 3 knobs, the left one is for parallax adjustment, focuses the scope for specific ranges. the top knob is the elevation adjustment in this case also.

I bought these for my husband. In trying them

Difficult to answer specifically without knowing the model. But binoculars are designed to view objects in the distance. They all have a limit as to how close they will focus based on the magnification and design. Objective lenses that are far apart such as on a porro prism binocular will not focus very close. The nature of the design of having the objectives further apart than the eyepieces doesn't allow it. When trying to focus too close the image will appear blurred and double. That is the nature of the design. 9 feet or 3 metres is considered quite close to focus a binocular and is usually for a model designed to do this such as a roof prism where the objective lens and the eye lenses are inline. A specialty binocular such as the Pentax Papilo will close focus to 50 centimeters. It has been designed so that the objective (large lenses) lenses converge.

Take into account when focusing that binoculars are also designed to compensate for differences in each eye. One of the eyepieces either right or left will adjust seperately. For binoculars with a center focus ring. First focus using the center ring with one eye covered. The eye that should be covered is the one that doesn't have the adjusting eyepiece. When the image is clear close the eye you have just used and leave the center focus alone. Focusing on the same spot look through the eyepiece that adjusts and turn the eyepiece ring until the image is clear. Now all you have to do is focus using the center ring only as the binoculars are adjusted for each eye.

Some binoculars do not have a center focus and each eye will adjust seperately.

There is a focus ring around the lens of the WEB cam turn this ring until your image becomes clear, just like a camera focus knob.
Click on the WEB cam software, you will be able to go into an options or configuration, click on video setting, you should see an image of yourself, adjust the focus until the image is clear.

GE EASY CAM

That particular model has Easy Focus; ensures crystal clear videos - just turn focus ring to adjust range from 10 cm infinite. I do believe if you turn it to the left it will zoom in, and to the right is zoom out. Could be the reverse of that tho. The focus ring is around the lense.
