Yes, it can be replaced but will most likely cost more than the computer is worth at todays prices. If it where me I would remove the screen and buy an LCD Flat screen and use the computer as a desk top if I really needed to keep it. Or remove the hard drive and put it in a mobile case and use as a back up drive and buy a new laptop.

How do I replace screen on satellite c655-s5132 with screen from satellite L305-s5919?

I'm sorry, but this isn't possible. The screens are two different sizes. The Satellite C655-S5132 has a 15.6" Widescreen display while the Satellite L305-S5919 has a 15.4" Widescreen display. The two aren't interchangeable. Sorry!
Thanks, and have a great day!

I dropped my labtop Satellite L305-a5955 and broke the screen, how much will it cost to get the screen fixed?

Usually replacing notebook screens run on the order of $100 - $150. This can change dramatically on how old the computer is, and how available parts are for it. If you go to Google maps and search for computer repair, there should be someplace locally you can take it to for an assessment of how much it would cost to repair.

Many places will do this for free, but some will charge some small amount. Last time I did that, I believe it was $30 for the assessment to price parts.

Generally, if it is a really old computer, you would be better off just getting a new computer from Best Buy for around the $300 price point. Most computers at that price will beat any computer that is at least 1 year old, unless it was a top of the line computer to begin with. Plus, you get better battery life, all of the components will have more life left in them.

Good luck with whichever choice you make!

Hey i have a toshiba satellite L305-s5933\r\nand i have white or grey screen .i am ready replaced the screen and the lcd inverter and nothing happened. can anybody help me?

This could be a problem with your video card. If you have an actual removable video card then you might try to replace it. If your video card is built onto the mother board, then you are going to be in real trouble. At that point it might not be cost effective to try to repair it. Of course, since this will likely mean purchasing a part, Toshiba would likely help you to diagnose the issue since it will lead them to a sell. Hope this helps somewhat. Best Wishes!

Looking for a lcd screen replacement procedure for Toshiba Satellite L305-S5957.

If the screen is not physically broken then the fault is most likely a back-light problem. A back-light problem is usually caused by a faulty inverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. These components are a lot cheaper to replace than the whole LCD screen.
