Question about Brother HL-4040CN Laser Printer
I have a Brother HL-4040CN. I had a rear paper jam and when trying to get the jam out, the fuser cover came off. I'm not sure where 2 springs go. I cannot email brother for solutions....... HELP!!!

This is a tough one without looking at the machine. Chances are the 2 springs are hoplding a flap closed/down and keeping pressure of rollers on the paper feeding path. I would first say to put the fuser back in then try and print. The paper should jam in the area where the 2 springs go. Normally they are on opposite sides of the machine (left/right) and there will be 2 small (usually plastic) tabs on each side to hold the spring (if they have not been broken). You may be able to see them just by looking if you remember where you were when they popped out..
