Frige recently moved but not laid over. When plugged in, circuit board in rear starts "clicking". The fan underneath jumps with each click, so I assume the click is a relay that powers the compressor and the fan. Interestingly, I removed the light in the water/ice dispenser and the clicking stopped and the compressor and fan ran along with everything else. Unfortunately, that only lasted a few hours and the refrigerator stopped and the clicking began again. Now, I cannot get it to run at all. The pulses when it clicks are too short for me to get a current reading. I believe I either have a high current being drawn by my compressor or
the circuit board is acting up. How can I determine which it is or are these symptoms indicative of something else?
These symptoms indicate that the main control board is bad . The compressor relay ( one of the black boxes ) is bad . Have to replace the complete board . Without the model number , can't give you the part number . Take the model number with you when you go to get the part ( or order the part ).
