IF code + freezer fan frozen up. Unplug for 3-4 hours or use a hairdryer to unfreeze the fan. Stuff small rag in the air out let inside the ice maker compartment. There are two air outlets on the inside lower left of the refrigerator. The bottom one is the cold air outlet to ice maker. Blow hot air from hair dryer for 4-5 minutes, which will de-ice the fan. Take rag out. The cause is too much stuff in the freezer, or condensation caused by leaving the freezer door open a lot for too long.

It is ER IF and indicates that the ice maker fan is not working. The fan is probably frozen. If you can remove the fan duct and housing at the back of the freezer you may be able to defrost the ice in the fan enclosure. The fan may have frozen because of hight humidity or because the defrost cycle is not working.

The fan motor is froze up. Buy a $52.13 fan (aba72913403) from searspartsdirect.com, installation is fairly easy. Read the service manual to see how to remove drawers and access motor. It took me about 30 minutes total to repair. The motor part in the view is the 407A motor.

Turn off the switch for the icemaker, then flip the circuit breaker to off for a few seconds and turn it back on. The display should remain lit and operable, but you won't have an icemaker. See service manual pg. 32: http://136.166.4.200/contents/Fridge/LFX25960/LFX25960_Service_Manual.pdf

Find the technical data information. It is a document somewhere in the refrigerator. It could be under the front, which, means removing the kick panel, or in the back behind the rear panel. Once you locate the tech sheet it might enlighten you are to what the error codes are. With this information you can make an informed decision as to how to proceed with your next actions.
