Question about Televison & Video
Sound, but black screen on all inputs, incl. cable....
sounds like backlight/ inverter problem according to blogs/posts...
how do i get parts and replace myself?
Hello. You could be right in a way, but the larger tv's have more of a complex inverter. The way you can try to fix it yourself if you know what your doing, would be to download a manual for it. Google the model number along with download schematic. try this website to see if your schematic is available for free.http://www.eserviceinfo.com/ If not, then you can call toshiba and find out where to get one. After you receive it, then go through the troubleshooting steps to trace down the problem. If it turns out that it say is a defective power supply module or video module, you can google the module number and some times you can find them used. if not, you have to go directly to toshiba. Good luck ! Ron
