If anyone can spare a PDF of this or a hard copy, I'd gladly pay for paper and mailing!
Any size would be fine - 12 channel, etc. This board uses 4 ch modules
and as configured is 24x4x2.
Thanks!

I don't know about pagemaker 7, the HP LJ M1005 should allow you to select (US) 'legal' paper size.
I would this is done by (having first installed your printer) from within pagemaker, or at least Windows (if you are not using a Mac) selecting 'File' from the menu bar at the top of your screen, and from the drop down menu select 'page set up' and then choosing 'legal' from the drop down menu (box) which is for paper size.
See p58 of this document (software reference guide for M1005) for illustration - http://www.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00742663.pdf

Try to unplug and replug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, try to copy 2-sided again. Refer to the Lexmark 7500 Series User's Guide for the step-by-step instructions on how to copy on both sides of the paper.
Notes:
Use only plain paper in Letter or A4-size. Do not make duplex copies on envelopes, card stock, or photo paper.
You cannot print duplex through the PictBridge port.
The MX310 is a straight through printer. So you put the paper in the rear tray after opening it. Pull out the paper support and adjust the lever for the paper thickness to match your paper specifications. The lever goes to the left unless printing envelopes and T-shirt transfers. Also pull out the paper output tray and set the output tray extension.
Align the 4 corners of the paper stack (if loading more than one sheet) and bend to uncurl the paper (if needed) before inserting in the rear tray. For photo paper and other pages with a print side and a back, place the pages with the print side facing up. Align the paper against the right side of the rear tray and then pinch the paper guide and slide it to the left side of the paper stack. Make sure to adjust the paper size to match in the computer's printer properties (paper size) or in the copy settings on the all-in-one before either printing or copying.
Check all your paper tray make sure all side guide are set properly to the size of your paper. Check the front on the right side there is a paper size nob and set to the size of the paper in the tray next to it. A sheet 8.5x11 paper on four side edge of the paper make an arrows marking and place it to platen glass and make copies and make sure to choose which paper tray you are using. The marking all should be in all four corner of the copies. if not recheck the paper tray side guide. if this did not work. what ever paper tray is off registration, removed the the paper and lift the pressure plate or lift plate there is two screws to loosen to adjust rear and front paper side guide. HH
If its reduced in size during transmit or copy then simply place a letter size document in the feeder and close the two sliders up to the sides of the paper. If you don't close the slider up to the paper it will go into auto reduction
