Question about Car Audio & Video
Get a Mecha error message everytime I try to play a CD on my six disc standard CD player in a 2005 Honda Odessey. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
There are several reasons why your CD changer may have failed but the most common is simply a mechanical failure (gears/motors/etc.) Unfortunately, these are complex machines and typically do require an electronic technician to repair the problem but the good news is they are repairable. So, you have a couple of options: replace the unit with an aftermarket, which for your car I would not recommend, or repair it. I would be happy to assist you further with a repair quote if you contact me directly: CustomerCare@radiomedics.com or by tel: 877-4-RADIO-MD
