I have a motorola razor v3 and I'm trying to connect my bluetooth (which is a motorola H680)

when you place the bluetooth in pairing mode and search for it from your phone it should automatically connect

if it asks for a passcode then press 0000

if this does not work try it with another phone or try to connect another bluetooth to this phone to see if there is an issue with the bluetooth on your phone

I have followed the directions given to me by the seller to pair my bluetooth to my Motorola Razr V3. Twice it has found it and said it is an H371. But that is all that happens. The process usually doesn't...

try these simple steps

2.there is anothr option of visible or something (make it visible for some time)
3.then on your bluetooth device.
4.It will ask you password
5.enter the password 0000 or (given password by retailer)
6.then your mobile will be paired with bluetooth device

Pair my h680 to my razr m9c

When you turn your bluetooth on you should press and hold the button and it will flash several times then the light will stay on. On your phone under bluetooth devices select the " find devices" and it should pick it up within a few seconds.

Blue Tooth Pairing

I think that you are usiing an uncompatable headset or your doing it wrong.

How to pair your Bluetooth Head Set:

  1. Turn your Bluetooth on, on your phone.
  2. Turn your Head-set on.
  3. On your phone, in the bluetooth menu; go to "Look for Devices".
  4. Your phone should automatically detect the headset and allow you to connect.

Try http://carphonewarehouse.com to see if your bluetooth head set is compatable.

Pairing a Jabra 250 headset with my new motorazr2

Here is what you need to have configured on your phone for Bluetooth connections:

1. Create a link between your Motorola RAZR Phone and any Bluetooth Accessory 1.0 and up, you need to turn the Bluetooth connection "on". This is how: Go into your phone "settings". > Then select "Connection" > "Bluetooth Link" > "Set Up" > "Power" > "On". The connection will stay on until you turn it off. We recommend to turn it off when not in use to preserve battery life.

2. To connect your RAZR to another Bluetooth hands free kit or headset, go into "Settings" > "Connection" > "Bluetooth Link" > "Handsfree" > (Look for Device). You phone will scan for available devices located within the range of the RAZR, approx 30 feet away. If your cell phone is already connected to a Blue Tooth headset, you must disconnect from it to find other devices. Once you have identified your bluetooth device, highlight its name and click on the "select" button.
3. The Bluetooth device will ask permission to connect. Select "yes" and press the "select" button; after that you will be prompted to insert a PIN code to initiate a secure connection. The PIN code is usually provided by the Bluetooth device manufacturer (in the manual), not the RAZR (unless you are connecting to another phone). Once the connection is made, you should see the bluetooth logo displayed on the internal screen, while the external screen Bluetooth indicator will flash.
