I have a Sansa e250 and I just bought a 8GB microSD card. Ideally, I would be able to add 10GB worth of music and playlists, however I can't get the Sansa player to read the music from the microSD...

The Sansa e250 works with microSD cards. Your 8GB card is actually a microSDHC card (the HC stands for High Capacity). While microSDHC cards fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work in the e250.

microSD cards max out at 2GB in size, but you can put your music on several of them and swap them in and out. It's not as convenient as having them all on one card, but that's the best you can do with the e250.

Some later models such as the Fuze will accept microSDHC cards.

Hiii, just wanted to know sansa e 250 's expandable memory can be expanded to how much GB.

You can put music on any as many microSD cards as you wish. Each microSD card will hold up to 2GB, as long as you put the files into a folder called "MUSIC." You can't put any photos or videos on the cards, however, only audios. And, of course, you can only have one card in the e250 at any one time, but you can swap them in and out.

Make sure you use microSD cards. The e-series will not use microSDHC cards.

I have a Sansa e250 I have put a new Micro sd card with 8 gb memory into the card slot it has music loaded on to it ( when it is in the computer it comes up and shows what is on it ) the player does not...

The e-series uses microSD cards. Your 4GB card is actually a microSDHC card. While it fits into the slot it is not electronically compatible and will not work in the e250. You need to stay with microSD cards, 2GB and smaller.

The newer Fuze series will accept microSDHC cards.

I baught a 4 gig memery card and put it in my player and it does not make any differentas

The e250 uses microSD cards. Your 4GB card is actually a microSDHC card and will not work in the e250. You need to limit yourself to microSD cards, which are 2GB at the largest.

You'll also need to put your music into a folder named "MUSIC" on the card. Pictures and videos will have to remain in the main memory.

Says" not enoughh space for music db please free 8 mb" wont let me put music on or delete

Try removing the microSD card then delete something from the e250's internal memory to free up 8MB.

Make sure that the microSD card is formatted. You may reformat the memory card using your phone and then try saving some music.

If that will not do any help, try using another microSD card to see if the card is defective.

Have a great day!
