Just bought starview 4.need 2 download some file on2 my usb stick info would be great

Go to 4 4 shared.com to get the download 1.12 bin on to your usb stick then put it in the back of the box and transfer the files from it in the menu.

Did you get a piece of paper with it telling you how to download the files onto the usb stick. Then put it into the back of the box then scan the channels.You will also need the codes for your provider.

sky sports and sky movies have moved to nagra 3 so there probably won`t be a fix soon/ ever for those!! have you used the V1.12 file yet? you must d-load it to a usb stick and then flash the box with it(insert at the back of the box,but make sure the box is switched off from the back).hope this link helps

When you update firmware part of the process creates two folders on usbstick CH Data Backup and Code Backup if you dont have these reflash tocreate these on usb stick

How to use

Have memory stickattached to starview 4 press menu go down to USB go into CH Data Backupfolder now press red button will ask do you want to create chan databackup name file whatever you want hit ok it will then create you abackup.bin
Now remove usb stick from starview and connect to pc openSV4CE click file and open your backup.bin you can now use this app todelete, arrange, lock and move channels to any order you wish have aplay arround quite straight forward to use.
