Question about Biostar TA790GX Motherboard
The original motherboard sound drivers from original disk won,t install.It says not compatible when installing.In the Device Manager the Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus shows yellow explanation.I tried uninstalling ang re-installing rebooting and when reinstalling the installation says Audio Driver Failure (Error Code ; -0001).And when I try again it says that the drivers are not compatible.This is XP 64bit OS And the motherboard is Biostar TA790GX 128M Motherboard Everything else works fine and no other issues in Device Manager or other locations.I,m stuck on what to do next .Please Help and Thank You so much for your time.Cortez,

You could try downloading the driver from the site..Maybe there is a problem with the one on the disk. Also check the BIOS updates and see if this is a known issue. They may have a BIOS update to fix this issue. Before installing the driver/software I would remove the current audio software and remove the audio from the device manager and then re-boot the computer. Then install the downloaded software and see if that works.
