Question about Rain Bird Xerigation XCZ-075
Check the individual solinoid that controls the on/off valve for that zone. It is possible that thes solinoid is bab or that the wires have become corroded and the terminals need to be replaced. Typically, there is a manual operation lever on the side of the electric solinoid that you can flip on to see if you have an obstruction in the line, but if the other valves are working correctly, that is not the usual problem.
You'll find the solinoid valves in a valve box in the ground, or sometimes the contractor installed them next to the basement, or in certain circumstances, inside the basement.
If you can turn the valve ON/OFF manually and the zone works, you'll need to get a replacement solinoid valve for your defective one, provided it has good connections and the terminals aren't all corroded. If corroded, you can attempt to clean them and try it to see if the valve will work.
If you're going to replace the faulty one, be sure to turn off the water supply and unplug the sprinkler timer, as once you remove the valve, water will freely flow and will make quite a mess at the valve manifold assembly. Also, typical voltage is 12V-DC or less operating the valves, but some commercial systems do use 120V-AC voltage, so be safe and unplug/disconnect the power first!
Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!
