Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
I have an ACER 5000. When I check the max memory it will support I'm told it is 4Gs, but I only have 2 slots. The sytem says I have "double bank onnections", but I don't see how to fit more than 2 dosimms in the allocated space. What am I missing?
The only thing you missed is if you have only 2 slots to put memory sticks it means that if you want to put 4 Gb of ram you need to buy 2 sticks of 2 Gb each, you have no other choice. you can't add memory but only change the existing ones.
