My charger is broken.

A few days ago i put my charger in the phone and it wouldnt chage. can somoeone help me. is it time to get a new charger ?

Yes if your phone do not detect any charger than you need to buy a new charger. because whenever you connect a charger, than the mobile displays "battery charging0"

Jailbroken iphone battery died
i fell asleep and forgot to put my iphone on the charger and the battery died... i put it on the charger the next morning and it wouldnt charge or turn on. it just had the battery icon with a red line in it with the little bolt underneath. i let it sit on the charger for a few hours and still got nuthing..i thought i was gonna have to connect it to itunes and restore it and lose my jailbreak...but i didnt...i just put my iphone into dfu mode, then took it out of dfu mode and put it back on the charger. after a few minutes the iphone turned back on and i still had my jailbreak and everything. i jailbroke on jailbreakme.com a few weeks ago. i dont think that site is up anymore... hope this helps somebody :)

You need to remove the battery and check it with some other phone. Otherwise check to see if there is a problem with the charger by charging another phone. Then you can find out the probleem is in which device.

my phone is the same model and did this but when i charged it, after about an hour it would come up with 'charging error stop ' and when i unplugged it, it hadn't even charged at all. and then the other day it just wouldnt charge, i plugged it in, it said it was charging but it wasnt. in the end, it worked by keeping the phone switched off and charging it while i was turned off. so try that, if not then i really dont know sorry

Blackjack just wont chage at all
Do a master reset of the phone. Sounds like a software problem since both the usb and power jack not working.
  1. Once the handset has rebooted to the Today Screen, enter the following code: *2767*3855#. The handset should display a message “Formatting- Please wait a moment”.
  2. The phone will reboot after the Full Reset as this is normal operation.

It is loose now the charging port may have gotten broken. It happens with the LG VU's.

If this is the case, you have 3 options.

1. repair -warranty preferably
2. new phone
3 or external battery charger. cheapest option
