Probably two bad capacitors on the upper left-hand corner of the main circuit board when viewed from the back of the set. If you can see them and they have a bulged top, replace the two caps to fix.

Capacitors on power supply bad.
Replace this:
2200uf 16V, 220uf 16V. Upgrade to 35V.
Located on power supply- deflection board.

could be power supply problem or high voltage problem. check caps in main power supply first.look for caps that have tops puffed up ususlly three or four.....
does the tv try for three times then go out or does it just light the led once then go out? Also is your model numbeer the D52W20? Please respond to this same post when replying.
