Question about Computers & Internet
Logon to your edimax from another computer, i.e. one not running xp pro, or via connection through the provided disc and an ethernet wire as when you did the original setup. Click on the "wps setting" tab. The number you are after is labelled "Self PinCode". This is what the help desk told me. However, I found that this did not work either and the easiest solution by far is to simply uncheck the Enable WPS box. You will then get the usual request for your pass phrase that you are used to. You should have set that up already but if you can not remeber, look under the security tab.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
