Question about Pioneer KEH-1700
Hi, while trying to remove the unit from the slide-in sleeve in the dashboard and not having the installation manual to hand, I managed to insert one of the extraction pins incorrectly. As a result, when I had removed the unit, there was something rattling inside. This turned out to be the "double arrow-hook" plastic part into which the faceplate clips.
Can someone please tell me how to reattach this part? It has two "arrowhead hooks" on one edge, and a tiny little hooked projection on the other. Perhaps this is a connector for a holding spring or another part which are now missing.
Please would someone explain how to fit and fix my radio/cassette, preferably with a diagram and the part numbers for any missing/broken bits and where to buy them?
Many thanks, jenni (from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada)
