I have a 2WIRE 2701HG-B. I can get on the Internet with both the host machine, the machines hard wired to the gateway and even a wireless connection on a laptop. But my computer refuses to recognize the 2701, calling it an "unknown device". I've reinstalled the software that came with it. Tried to install as new hardware. In all cases, it wouldn't recognize any drivers on the disk. Is there anywhere I can download these drivers. The 2WIRE site is useless for this device, as all they offer is a user guide and and installation guide. Why they don't have drivers on their site is beyond me. Any help you could give will be appreciated. Thanks
You do not need to install the 2Wire Wireless Client Manager if your computer contains a built-in client manager (such as Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista), which will work in conjunction with any 2Wire wireless adapters
If you have a driver un-install it and have windows find it for you. That is there recomendation. It says the driver disk they used to use was for the old operating systems.
