Thick black line rolling up the recorded video of the TV

When playing back a video recorded with the Z710 Kodak camera - of a short TV episode I see a - thick black line rolling up the screen that was not on the screen while recording. Is there a way to adjust the camera or TV to stop this?

That is the camera not being in sync with the refresh rate of the TV. With consumer gear, there is really not much you can do about it.

Orange light comes up isn't letting me take pictures black screen

Could be a problem with the LCD viewer screen, or, if not, could be the CCD image sensor go to bad; in both cases this isn't a job that you could solve yourself; this wrong include distorted images or abnormal colors, scratchy purple lines, blank or black pictures, and/or black videos with good sound being recorded on the camera's flash card.

I suggest check THIS LINK for additional details in this previous solutions for an Defective CCD (Charge Coupled Device) and next contact your Kodak service.
I strongly suggest (taking into consideration the age of your camera) to evaluate the cost of repair versus the cost of a new camera with similar features, before making a final desicion.

Hope this helps

How do you get the sound to play back after recording a video. kodak easyshare c183

On page 16 of the PDF user manual, which is labelled 'page 10', it says "NOTE: Audio is captured during video recording. Audio can be heard when the video is played on a computer or when the camera is connected to a TV (page 30)." I think that's a nice way of saying that you can't play the sound in the camera.

I can not hear sound on my kodak c182 camera when i record video

The C182 records audio but does not play it back. To hear your videos, first transfer them to your computer and play them back there.

I have a kodak z710 camera and it has verticle lines on the pictures. Help!

There is no firmware available online therefor we must assume That this is a mechanical problem and the camera is in a need of a repair.
If your camera is Out of Warranty the repair of this model for this fault is about 88 pounds + shipping. KODAK also offers a Trade up option where you will have the opportunity to trade up to a newer model 25-30% cheaper than the market price.

I dropped our Kodak Z710

Doubt it. Kodaks are notorious for the lens becoming knocked out of line when dropped. I had an older model that a child knock off a 3 foot high table and it never worked again. Best thing is to find a local repair shop, call in to Kodak for assistance, or look for another camera.
