Question about Sony VAIO PCV-RZ40C1B PC Desktop
Was working for 2 days for 3 hours and then it shut off as if the plug was pulled out. I tried to start with the power on button but it just flashed red hdd light and shut off. Did the cpu die or is it the motherboard? I ordered a new cpu and will try that first because its easier than motherboard. what is your expert opinion? to Bogdan since my name is also Bogdan.
You might also consider a power supply. Sometimes they don't die completely, you'll still get a little power from them, but they still need replaced. The motherboard would be the next option, then finally the CPU. CPU's rarely go out before the power supply and motherboard.
