Question about Xerox Office Equipment & Supplies
Removing and shaking then re-installing won't work if the chip on the cartridge says it's empty.
The count on the chip is a combination of pagecount and pixel count. There is NO optical measure of toner level, or agitator torque sensing as on some cartridges/printers.

Pull the toner cartridge out and gently shake it, this will usually free up some of the toner that's left...but be careful or you'll spray toner everywhere!
