I phone will not connect to AT&T . The phone worked fine over the weekend, but nothing is coming in and i cannnot call out. When i try to place a call it just shows "searching"

There's a trick I've read about for cell phones with water damage, it's placing the damaged phone in a bowl of uncooked rice - completely covering it. Leave it for a couple days & check it out. 1st I would remove the battery & dry it best as i could and maybe swab inside battery compartment with a q-tip and then let the rice try & absorb what it can for 2-3 days & see.
