Tip

Fix leaking faucets yourself

always rember , anyone having problem with leaking water faucets, for example a bathroom sink faucet is leaking, you don't have to go and buy a new one.save youself some money, buy putting new washers in,and if that don't stop it you will need to change the set that the washer seat agains't.
the way to do this first, you would need a screw driver and take off
off the knobs off the faucets, then you will see the washer you would
replace ,but the water has leaked so long you would need to change the
copper set to do this you need a wrench that you can remove the copper
seat then reassemble the faucet and to make this fix last.
always rember don't tighting the knob just enough to stop the water
from leaking and the washer will last alot longer.doing this yourself
you have saved alot of money.

Leaking in front of Refrigerator this morning took off front plate drip pan full looks like water over flowed from pan. no other leaks inside and out.

hum the drip pan should not get full as the heat from compressor. the way the drip system is suppose to work is that the heat causes the water to evaporate before it builds up to much in pan? Therefore u may be dripping to much water in line due to? is there a heavy build up of ice in freezer? if so bad defrost terminator or simply the cold control is set to high? the optimum setting for ur controls should be medium or half way

How do you adjust the water level on an LG front loader washer?

You cant, water levels are factory set for optimum water efficiency, new machines use a lot less water than older machines, poor wash results are usually caused by over loading

What is the best temperature for the freezer and fridge

There is always an optimum temperature setting marked on all fridges and it will normally be the half way mark of the thermostat.
This is quite ideal for general conditions unless you want to have a higher freezer temperature, in which case it can be set to the higher marking.

Changing thermostat on 04 olds alaero

1. Diconnect negative battery cable.

2. If the vehicle has an automate transaxle, remove the exhaust manifold before proceeding with the removal and installation of the thermostat.
3. Drain the cooling system. 4. Take out the bolts that hold the water pump feed pipe to the thermostat housing. 5. Lift out the thermostat-housing-to-water-pump feed pipe. 6. Pull out the thermostat. 7. Set the new thermostat in position. 8. Connect the thermostat housing-to-water-pump feed pipe.
9. Set the bolts in place that holds the thermostat-housing-to-water-pump feed pipe. Torque the bolts to 89 inch pounds. 10. Install the exhaust manifold. 11. Refill the cooling system to the proper level with a 50 / 50 mixture of distilled water / DEX Cool approved coolant. 12. Start the engine and check for leaks. 13. Make the necessary adjustments to coolant levels to assure optimum engine performance.

I HAVE A AUDI A6 98 MODEL ,ONE OF THE WATER PIPE HAD A LEAK AND NOW IT THE TEMP GUAGE GOES UP TO 90 IN A SHORT DRIVE .

THIS IS AS IT SHOULD BE,the temp should rise after about 1 to 2 miles,VW group engines have very little water in them compared to some other makes and should get to "operating temp" far quicker than most other cars.as long as your not overheating/overcooling,your gas mileage will be at its optimum.

The pressure is at 0 and it should be around 0.7 to 0.9 for me to restart the boiler. how to proceed?

Hello. If your pressure is at 0, you will have to add more water to the system. It is possible that the fresh water valve was turned off once the optimum pressure was reached before. Now you will have to turn the fresh water valve on until the optimum pressure is reached again.

Slow water flow

dadcanfix. There are two possibilities here. One could be the water valve itself, clogged or not seating or opening properly. The second would be the water tank on the refrigerator side, partially frozen. I believe they have a kit now with coiled tubing that replaces that tank because of the trouble they had with it. Remove the refer drawers and take a hair dryer and go over the tank lightly. See if that improves the water flow. Catriver..post back.
