I don't know where refrigerators got into the equasion, this is a time clock issue. Obviously, the "expert" who suggested taking the hands off and setting them at the correct time does not have any knowledge of the system.

Another "expert" suggested going to the Simplex web site to download a manual. This 5100 series system is proprietary and manuals are not available to the public. Simplex wants $480 to come and reset the clocks!! What I am trying to find out is if there are any independent sources for repairs.

The clocks all work. THey are just several minutes off in various rooms. THere is no manual with the system and everything is digital.

First check if only some of the clocks are out of synchronization or all the clocks are. The clocks inside your school are connected to a master clock and are supplied by power through it.
Verify whether they are working at all or they working and just out of synchronization.
If they are altogether not working then check if there are some loose connections or damaged wires.
If they are just out of synchronization then try readjusting them from the master clock. You will find all the instructions in the manual accompanied by the master clock.
The individual clocks can be repaired if the solenoid inside them is found faulty.

This means that the clocks are working. OK.
Now you need to locate the master clock and set the time from there.

With your model number you should be able to find the manual here. https://www.simplexgrinnell.com/time/users_manuals.jsp
I hope this helps.

Hi,
Pull the minute hand off and move it back by 15 minutes and put it back on. If it is off by 5 minutes after that you need to pull it again and adjust it by putting a square object, like a small square file, in the hand bushing and move the hand backward on the bushing. If it does not have a bushing in the hand for some reason then you will have to get a profession to adjust it from inside.

Thanks
Smith.

How to syncronize chimes with hours

The next time it gongs multiple times turn the hour hand clockwise until it is pointing at the number of times it gonged. Next take off the dial nut off (make sure to put it in a plastic bag because they can be hard to replace) and turn the minute hand until it strikes once. Now put the minute hand back on pointing to 6 o'clock and replace your dial nut and you are all set.

If your school "blocks" usage of time-wasting sites such as Facebook and YouTube, and you clicked "I agree" to obey the school's policies for usage of the school's computers, you risk getting suspended or expelled from school, if you violate those policies.

How do you syncronize the chimes to the actual time? I inherited the clock and no instruction manual, The chimes are two hours behind the time.. Thanks

Are the hands held on by a nut? usually you can remove the nut with your fingers or a pair of pliers wrapped in cloth or duct tape to prevent scratching.
Before removing turn the minute hand (minute hand only and clockwise only; do not manually turn the hour hand and never counter-clockwise) turn the minute hand clockwise until it chimes at an hour mark.
Then remove the hands and and place them pointing to the correct time.
If you are uncomfortable with this I recommend taking it to a clock shop or jeweler that sells clocks. If it is inherited, it may need some maintainence (oiling and regulating) anyway.

Can you hook multiple VCR's together for same time/date?

There is no way to exterally syncronize the clocks. The best you can do is to set them the same.

System time

Syncronizing the time will set the BIOS time to the synced time aswell.

Syncing the time does exactly that it just changes the time on your system to the time of the server you are syncronzing with.

I have a Simplex Bell clock here at the school. I'm trying to program it and am unable to get it to set. Please help me with instructions on how to set the bell clock and how to set it differently for...

Hey, BAC systems are usually microprocessor controlled and normally can be set from the controller with the different times and days the bell would be used. My school ditched their old analogue Simplex controller and retrofitted it with an Entek TC2100 digital time clock controller. I would contact Simplex and ask them for the manual for the control system. Or do what I did, PLAY WITH IT!

Syncronizing windows

1- Well the thing is with Digital Camera If there is lots going on (on the computer) your other program might interfer
1st end all processes that might have anything to do with the camera or that may be using any of its features, I would retart your computer as well
If you still have any issue uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the camera.
2- Of course you can You have to locate the volume control located in the System Tray( Next to the clock in the lower right hand side corner) if you double click on the icon you shold have the option to mute the microphone

Good Luck
