Jabra BT205 - headset no longer charges - this has worked fine until recently and now no longer seems to hold a charge (blue light lit for around 5 seconds and then dies...). Just bought new set and same prob - one flash and then dies. Any suggestions very welcome other than throw away and buy something that works.

An old headset I had would flash blue and orange when it was in discover mode, ( so the cell phone would find it to pair it up). This jabra I have will not go there. My cell phone just says cannot find...

Hello friend,
First, make sure that your headset is charged and then press and hold the "Answer/end" button until that the light becomes blue solid. at this time you can do a search on your phone to discover bluetooth devices.
Here is the link to download the user manual for more information:
http://www.jabra.com/sites/Jabra/GNimages/Products/WirelessHeadset/BT350/Documents/BT350_UM_NA_EN_491.pdf
if the device doesn't light on at all, you may need to try with another charger because in this the device is not charged at all.

Can i pair jabra bt125 with samsung blackjack ??

Mine is a Blackjack II, but i did get it to connect. Hold the clear button down on the Jabra until it lights solid blue, keep holding it with one hand while you use the other hand to operate your Blackjack. I went to Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth, then "Add new device". As long as my Jabra was lit solid blue, the phone found the headset. Then it will ask you for the pin code, which i found by accident (0000 - four zero's).

I have a Jabra set, but my Motorola Krazer can not find it

Hi,

Follow the steps below:
• Setting the headset into pairing mode
1) Ensure the headset is fully charged
2) The headset must be switch off
3) Press and hold the on button for around 8 seconds until the light flashes red-blue
4) The headset is now in pairing mode
• Searching for the headset on the phone
1) Go to “settings” or “connections”
2) Select Bluetooth, then options
3) Select Devices and click add
4) The phone should search for any available Bluetooth devices and display what was found
5) Select the Jabra device and click add
6) You will be required to enter in a pass code which is standard ‘0000’
7) If successful then the headset will start flashing BLUE every few seconds.

• The headset is now paired with the phone

Hope this helps

Jabra vbt2050 won't connect

Jabra VBT2050 - You have to hold the round button in until the light stays lit (about 20 seconds) this will put it in discoverable mode, the pin is 0000, I have AT@T service and it works just fine. Hope this helps out!

Jabra bt250v Indicator light doesn't remain on...

i have just repaired my bt250 with this problem, i hadn't used it for around 2 years and when i put it on charge just got i flash of blue led. the fix was to "jumpstart it" the headset needs to se some sort of battery voltage to start the charging process, i stripped mine right down but that was just to fiddley. IF YOU DO THIS IT WILL BE ENTIRLEY AT YOUR OWN RISK AND I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU TRASH YOUR OTHERWISE USELESS HEADSET. ok all you need to do is very carefully remove back cover (undo 1 screw and ease it apart). be very carefull as there are delicate wires inside. lift the inner part out slowly and you will see the battery.it has some orange tape around the end and there is a small circuit board attached to it with a small red wire and a small black wire. look at the battery and you will see under the orange tape there are to larger tags.these are the main battery terminals, peel back the orange tape just until the tags are slightly exposed. now you need to solder a wire to each of them and DON'T TOUCH THEM TOGETHER. on the battery it says which tag is + and which is - make sure you mark your wires or get red and black ones. now i used the lead from the charger. look at it . it has a hole in the center of the pin that is the + so put the + wire in there. if you are not sure use a volt meter. now touch the - wire to the outer metal of the connector that is the - point on the charger connector. hold this for around 2 mins but no more. as the out put of the connector is 6.2v and the battery is only 3.7v the battery will get warm. if the battery is getting too hot in under 2 mins then take of charge. when you have done that and taken off the connector i recommend to use a volt meter and just put it on the battery wires you soldered on to check battery voltage. as long as it reads you should be ok. de solder your wires from the tags and rebuild headset then try and charge it. this worked for me. i am no electronics expert i just like to mess with broken stuff so i know it seems a bit dodgy to connect like this but i had nothing to lose and it worked.
