Hi I have A liberty Hi I have the latest model of the ANCHOR Audio liberty system . I am interested in getting the radio Microphone Module for it. Can I purchase this and fit it myself? if so...

Good Day,

You can purchase a mic through the manufacturer at this link
http://www.anchoraudio.com/access_details.cfm?PART=MIC-90

Here is a list of other accesories
http://www.anchoraudio.com/product.cfm?CATEGORY=LIBERTY+SOUND+SYSTEM+PACKAGES&prodname=Liberty&ACCESSORYF=LIBERTY

Just a FYI the mic used on your system is standard 1/4" plug so you can purchase a mic at any music or electronic shop and it will work.

Hope this helps, and remeber to rate the solution

How to open anchor audio liberty speaker system

As I remember the Anchor has a removable metal back plate that is used to mount the volume control and 1/4" or XLR connectors. Before you start disassembling the unit....are you a qualified repair person? Other than a bad speaker, broken wire or connector there's not much "user servicable" parts inside.

Window show (No Audio Output Device is installed)

1. Make sure your Microphone is connected properly to the correct port (It's usually the one with the little mic picture on it at the back of your CPU)

2. Once it is properly connected, the system will automatically detect your microphone and suggest for you to download the necessary drivers needed. Do so to fully use your device.

3. If this still doesn't work, go to control panel, click on sounds and make sure that everything is set up properly (audio, mic in has volume, etc)

How do you replace a battery in an Anchor Liberty 4500 PA system?

Here is the link to the manual if you don't have one:http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Anchor+Liberty+4500+PA+system+battery+power+replacement&btnG=Search&aq=f&oq=&aqi= It appears as if you have to remove the entire control panel to replace the two batteries. You probably have to use exact replacements. THe link to the company is in the manual and they can probably give you more information. Hope this helps.

I have an Anchor, Liberty PA speaker that shuts off when I speak on the mic or as sson as I raise the volume. What is the problem?

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, your concern would be indicating two (2) possibilities:
  • speaker impedance mismatch. For some reason, the output thinks that the speakers connected to it are too low. This could be brought about if several speakers are connected to a single output without proper matching;
  • electronic/circuitry problem. the amplifier has partial short or cold solder connections of faulty components.
Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.

MY JOB DEPENDS ON THIS!!! SONY DSR PD170 AUDIO PROBLEMS

Hi,

Appreciate the direct "Ask Me".

The Sony PD170 is not an everyday equipment, nonetheless, I will assume that on the Sony DSR PD170:
  • the Samson UHF M32 receiver is plugged to Audio 1;
  • boom mic is plugged to Audio 2; (or vice versa) and
  • Both Audio 1 & 2 are using the XLR connectors.
Assuming that your boom mic is a conventional dynamic, on the Audio Control Panel, pls set:
  • INPUT 1 -
  • MIC CH SELECT CH1&CH2
  • INPUT LEVEL MIC
  • +48 OFF
  • INPUT 2 -
  • INPUT LEVEL MIC
  • +48 OFF
This is of course assuming that both the boom mic and the output of the Samson UHF M32 receiver are set to MIC level. In some instances the Samson UHF M32 receiver requires a LINE setting. The only time the +48 is set to ON is when the mic that is used/plug in requires phantom power such as condenser types. If the mic or the Samson UHF M32 receiver requires power then this should be switched ON otherwise, there will be no audio coming in. Though most M32 uses a 9 volts battery.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

MY JOB DEPENDS ON THIS!!! SONY DSR PD 170 AUDIO PROBLEMS!

if you use original mic(boom mic), rec ch select (ch1.ch2 and ch1) if you choose ch1 it means only 1 channel you want to rec, ch1.ch2 means you select 1 in for ch1 and ch2.input level depend the volume of your input for original mic use mic if the sound around not loud, use mic att if the sound around to loud. +48v for mic original use on, if you use off mic don't work, for input 2 same with input 1.if the original mic don't work try to push the reset button. if don't work, i found that some cam, have bad contac inside the switches
