Re: screen is pink
Have you tried the video settings by right-clicking the desktop then properties>settings tab then either manually change colour support or go advanced. If it doesn't budge, try turning off the system, go to safe mode if it still has a problem, try reinstalling your graphics or video drivers.
Did you do anything in particular before this happened?

More than likely you will need a new screen. It could be the screen or
it could be the video card inside the computer. Try connecting another
screen to the laptop to isolate the problem. Borrow a screen from a
neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the laptop.
If the Borrowed monitor displays ok without the changing color to pink
then your video card is ok and the problem is your original screen needs
to be replaced. If the Borrowed monitor displays the same pink colors
then your video card inside the computer is bad.
The video will show on most systems when you
reboot without you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit
the FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the
correct key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key
will normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.
for this, kindly check the BIOS mode of your machien first to know if the pink lines will still show there and if it still show then you may wanto contact your acer support to arrange a screen repair or replacment since issues like this are usually cause by dead pixels or display driver problem or display driver updates issues
you may use the given phone number below to contact the acer support if yoru screen shows the pink colors on BIOS so they can arrange a repair or screen replacment 800-816-2237
First boot in safe mode and the display resolution will be minimal if the screen appears ok with big fonts then try and adjust the normal resolution but not high resolution like 640x480 with 256 colors, if it works then you acer laptop screeen is fine but the exactly display drivers to be reloaded else there is a problem with your laptop screen which needs to be replaced
A dull pink color usually means the backlight is going out. You can test this theory by plugging your laptop into an external monitor. If the picture is fine, you know you have a bad LCD on your hands.
They are medium difficulty to replace, and they're widely available on eBay for $100-$200 (USD).
