Question about Samsung 7.3 Cu. Ft. 9-Cycle Electric Dryer - Blue
We had same problem with dryer taking to long , samsung sent out someone to repair , he told us the venting system was wong (was use ok for the last 25 years ! ) so we change it as they told us to and we had a dryer fire , after many emails and hours on the phone , the results are I'm buying another one after 14 months . Lowe's was not much of a help either .
The venting that the dryer hooks up to and leads out of your home does have alot to do with the proper operation of the machine if the ducting is blocked or restricted this will cause the dryer to take longer to dry the clothes.I do not understand why you had a dryer fire and am sorry to here that.also make sure the dryer is not pushed back to far against the wall and the flexable ducting is not to long and kinked in any way. good luck i hope this helped
