You can, you just need a program that will lower the quality.

I would recommend MovieFactory 6 Plus or VideoStudio X2 Pro from Corel.com
You can download free trials from Corel.com, but I don't think they sell X2 Pro anymore they are now up to X3 and I am not sure how well it works.

2. Download the software and install it and try to brn cd/dvd.

It is a free burning software otherwise you can try to reinstall the existing software with the help of disk.

For starters, google Sony or try Sony.com for contact info and request another cd. Or, try driverguild.com for a free download.
