Can i use HTC EVO 4G Smartphone on Reliance CDMA network in India. How to unlock and register with Reliance network instead of Sprint as this is a gift to me from my cousin from USA

Yes, It can be "unlocked" and you can make it work on Reliance CDMA network. I just got my phone unlocked and using it on Reliance Network. Go with a reputed dealer who could unlock it; don't try doing it by yourself. I got it done from a guy who was located in Delhi via remote access.

I am a user of Reliance CDMA , the SIM has been locked and its asking for the PUK Code.. What is the PUK Code?

A PUK code is a "Pin unlock code" it is used in mobile phones. This code unlocks the SIM card to allow access to your mobile phone. If you enter this code incorrectly several times, then the SIM card will be locked permanently and you will need to purchase another SIM card from your mobile phone provider.
The PUK code is with the documentation that came with your SIM card, if you no longer have the documentation, then you need to contact your phone service provider and ask them for the PUK code.
