Question about Dell XPS M1530 Laptop
Take out the battery... there will be two screws under it... take them out. You will see two "notches" where a small flat head may fit, put one in and gently seperate the "media cover" from the other plastic just a little bit.
Flip the laptop over. Now the "media cover"(with your power button) will come off. Pull up from the right side carefully, there should be a ribbon cable holding the media cover to the motherboard. To get to it you must unscrew and remove the keyboard.. it should be held in by two screws. carefully release the ribbon cable from the motherboard.
