What grease or oil do i need to lubricate the bearings and wobble plate on my Karcher pressure washer.

Use a Teflon based grease. Contact an auto parts store to buy it. The grease is usually colored blue.

Can any garage do a oil change on a 2000 vw beetle? or do u have to use official vw parts?

Make sure they use compatible oil and oil filter. Go to a shop that has an ASE certified technician, and try to find a VW specialist if you can. Your performance car should be inspected by an experienced professional, not just a oil changing grease monkey.

Hello, my Hobart AE200 seeps oil from the front panel. How do I top it up? How often does the oil need replacing and with what type of oil? Thanks

It's not oil in the A200, it's #2 weight grease. Although when it gets old enough it can break down far enough to basically become oil (either that or someone put oil in it previously). There are a number of answers written on fixya.com explaining how to disassemble the transmission and change the grease. Fill with 36 ounces #2 grease. FYI : disassembling the transmission and changing the grease is a very messy task and one can VERY easily reassemble the transmission incorrectly, so consider bringing the mixer to Hobart to have the job done.

My 06 cobalt has 55000 miles. ive had regular oil changes but im not sure what is done during a tune up. what parts are changed during a tuneup

please explain what you mean by tune up?? now to this old grease monkey that means fancy exhaust ,webber carb ,high lift cam and grind valves in ,polished ports ect ,so i assume you mean a service .Now this depends on the service as a service means different things to different mechanics ,now a dealer fitter will only change oil /plugs and filters as this is the most profitable for the dealer and the mechanic whos good with a pen for his bonus. But to an old fleet fitter like myself then a service is a lot more ,with a grease gun/oil can ,inspection and manual adjustment of rear brakes .Clean and grease the light bulbs ,in fact best part of a days work for one truck ,so please be more specific

Have lost some oil out of it in moving, what oil

Hi. The oil you see used to be mixed into the grease base. It's time to change the grease in your mixer. Remove the silver band, Remove the top cover. Remove the transmission cover. Clean out the transmission, remove all grease and oil. Replace with Chevron FM ALC EP-2 grease. This grease is an edible food grade..

Remove the planetary gear, clean and re-grease. If this solution has assisted you, please rate it. ricardok45

2007 XL883 Oil Change

the sportster differs in that there are only 2 holes compared to the 3 on the softail. You drain the main oil via tube at the rear of the engine and the primary/trans with a bolt under the bike make sure you get the correct one as its close to the adjuster for the primary chain. you need 3qts for the motor with a new filter and 1qt for the primary/trans use the forumla+ or Spectro sporty heavy duty primary/trans in the primary and your choice in the motor. whilst your servicing it make sure all the motor mounts are tight and the fuel and oil lines are leak free and get the dielectric grease onto the fuse block and relays and adjust the primary chain
