Question about Leica C3 35mm Point and Shoot Camera
Recently a film got stuck in my LEICA C3 and I couldn't take a picture. I opened the back and manually removed the film (not easy). I noticed an 'E' sign flashing continually when the camera is on, which it still is doing. I daren't put another film in case that won't work either. I can't find anything in the manual that came with the camera to tell me what this flashing sign means.
If anyone can help me I'll be very grateful.
Thanks, Jess (UK)

SOURCE: Loss of function
Whilst it is still under warranty you must return it to the seller.
That is your first move - it is their responsibility.
The second is to contact the makers support site and tell them.
Bear in mind price /value not withstanding small electronic devices are replaced not repaired.

SOURCE: leica m6 film stuck, I think
Did you mean you wanted to unload the unfinished film?
What you did then? be more clear and specific about the procedures before I can give you suggestions.

SOURCE: I have panasonic 3ccd leica
The first thing I woud suspect is that you're experiencing a low battery issue. Make sure the battery is fully charged. Also make sure the battery terminals on the battery and inside the camera are clean (use a qtip and alcohol or a pencil eraser). Also, you can try to spray some compressed air into the lens assembly, in hopes of freeing any dust or lint that may be binding the lens shutter, or other gear inside the lens assembly. I saw on a web blog that this happens on rare occasions, but they didn't mention what causes it.
Aside from that, you could be experiencing a ribbon connector issue to the LCD display, or some other issue. Take the camera into a local camera repair shop for an estimate, or contact Panasonic Support to see what can be done, and how much it would cost:
Make sure you get an estimate first, since the cost of repair can be high.
Wish I had more, but hope this helps.
