Under system preferences go to keyboard and mouse, click on set up new deviceselect the type of device you are wanting to setup and follow the instructions. If you have used the keyboard or mouse on another computer it could be that they are paired to that computer to unpair them you can use the instructions shown on the following webpage http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6859171
If it came with a CD (drivers) put them in and follow the instructions. You usually put the drivers in before plugging in the hardware . Some mice have a place for a battery (make sure + =+ & - = -). then plug the transmitter into the USB socket..now here is what I think is the problem...on the bottom of the mouse (usually) look for a tiny button that may say connect near it. push it and that syncronises the sender with the receiver. If the mouse doen't have one look for the same connect button on the dongle...Hope this works for you...if not go to the manufacturers' web site and look for product support. Bye

Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button
on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to
the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button
and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you
change batteries or glitch. Hope this helps you. Bud
Hi Carol,
Try the following options
1)There will be pictures below your kyboard asking you to press a connect button. Follow those instructions to see if it works.
2)Else, try restarting your computer and it may sync up.
3) or you may have to re-install your drivers by selecting your model from the following link http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/mice/&cl=us,en
Hi there:
I was also facing the same problem. But when you see on back of the keyboard the instructions are there. or follow these steps.
1. insert new batteries both in keyboard and mouse.
2. decide what device you want to connect 1st (Lets connect Keyboard first)
3. Pres and Hold the connect button for both key board and receiver for about 5 secs.
4. don't press any key on key board till 10 secs (During this time it trying to connect with receiver)
5. Check the key board connectivity if it works then take it away or put it behind some barrier so that when you are connecting the mouse it don't interrupt.
6. now for the mouse do the same process as you have connected the keyboard.(step 3 & 4)
7. now check both key board and mouse they will work fine.
Thanks
In order for you to make the mouse work with your computer, please try the steps below:
1. Make sure that you're using fresh batteries.
2. Make sure that the mouse is turned on.
3. Hold down the connect button on the receiver (the mouse cradle) and hold down the connect button under neath the mouse at the same time for five seconds and then release the buttons.
4. Try moving the mouse around and that should work.
Hello, With the computer off plug in the mouse. I'm assuming it is wired, not wireless. Boot the computer. It should recognize new hardware and work, if not go to control panel and click on add new hardware and follow the instructions. Mouse could possibly be bad. Hope this helps. Thanks
