Question about HP Pavilion dv1000 Notebook
Flex the top of your screen slightly back and forth,does it cause any changes or distortions ,if it does check the screen connection and ribbon that goes to the graphics card on the motherboard,comes out through the hinge under power button panel or keyboard,most likeley your desktop is extended onto another display that is disabled.or the graphics software is getting corrupted,plug in an external monitor or configure a tv in dual display,is the line on the other display in clone view ? if it is ,its in your graphics drivers or the card itself reinstalling the software and drivers may help,let me know what you find,
