Re: Fault finding

Have you tried manually readjusting the outer dials on the area of the lens? It's seems to be a focus problem... Try also using the MF "Manual Focus" mode to see if the halo disappears...

My finepixZ20fd says ''images recorded to internal memeory'' and won't transfer the photos to the computer when the USB is connected.

The message "images recorded to internal memory'' is just a warning, that there is no memory card in the camera. It doen't necessarily mean that there are any images saved in the internal memory.
The message should rather have been "images will be recorded to the internal memory"

Sigma 35mm slr film (not digital) camera. Viewfinder turned pink

Look at the downloaded images recorded by the camera, if they are okay the fault lies in the LCD and ofteen the system board chip that tranlates a recorded image onto your LCD.

How to transfer internal images to sd card?

Put memory card in camera, power up, go to menu and find copy option, select it and press ok.
That will copy picture files from internal memory to memory card.

Can't adjust aperature in manual mode.

1. Check the power switch is pointing to the rear dial (not "ON") or you wont be able to set your aperture.
2. Try shooting one image for each position of the mode dial on the top. Then review each image to see what mode the camera indicates the image was taken.(Pressing info during playback will bring up detailed information to show this) If the recorded setting and actual setting dont match, this indicates a fault with the dial.
3. If the camera does not display an aperture, or shows "00" then there is a communication fault with the lens. Check the contacts are clean and sitting correctly. You can confirm this lens is at fault by trying another lens on your camera,I'm sure a photo store could help with this.
Good luck!

Camera overexposes on daylight and recorded images have hoizontal striping

I would take it off of automatic mode and adjust it manually.

The Samsung camera I have doesn't work very well in automatic mode under indoor conditions. It will work in automatic under outdoor conditions.

Hope that helps.

Most likely no. You are probably going to have to send it in for repair or return it to the store.

Images recorded to internal memory

They should be accessible by removing the memory card (if present) and powering up the camera. You should be able to view them using the playback icon (arrow). Access to erasing them should then be through the menu.
