Question about Canon PowerShot A520 Digital Camera
When the camera is turned on. This came on very suddenly. Any way of solving this?
If the batteries are good then I am sorry to say that this is generally not a problem that you fix yourself. Hopefully the camera still has a warranty. If so, take it to Canon for repair. If not, call the Canon repair center to find out how much they charge to repair it. There is usually a flat fee for service depending on the model, but generally about 1/3 to 1/2 of replacing it. I suggest trying Ebay- you can usually pick up a new or refurbished camera for the same cost of repairing an old one.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
