No response from the router

My father plugged the wrong power supply into the router. (10V into a 5V)
Cracked open the case and nothing looks shot but the diode is suspected to the problem.

If when you now plug the correct power supply in you get no lights then the router is dead. If it is in warranty then you should be OK (I wouldn't mention the 10V power supply!). If not you may find someone to repair it, but it is probably cheaper to buy a new one.

Open lcd 17 power supply 5volte ok 13 dimming

Hello.
First of all you need some electronic repair experiance,
You have to disconect all f the power supply that going on 5v(rgb processor in moust cases)and 13v in most cases ccfl inverter(back lite ) with his driver.than have to mesure the voltages.
-Replace the capatitors in 13v line.
if the problem persist try to replace the diode one for 13v with one for 5v,they should be the same type.and check the voltage 5v and 13v.
if the problem is still on 13v look for the problem on the 13v line.

Hi,

Try to connect the router to a different outlet and try to turn it back on, if nothing happens, theres a possibility that there is something wrong with the routers power supply.

Hope this will help... Your response is very much appreciated...

Wont load any DVD'S

It is possible that the power supply is not providing a solid 5 volts.
Many of these units had problems where the 5v is too low (4.9).
In most cases capacitors can be replaced to correct a low voltage situation. Be sure to use 16v capacitors in place of any 10v.

PS/2 power supply connection

You seem to have an oddball monitor if what you describe is correct. The power supply to a monitor[Display Screen is that what you mean?] is either direct to main power- in which case the power cord is either built in with a power plug for wall socket, or has a socket on the back for a separate main power cord. Or is powered from a low voltage converter that delivers low volts usually via a coaxial plug like this illustration PS2 connection does dot come into the equation as far as I know unless you have got hold of something unusual. Tell you what take a shot of the back of the monitor and lets have a look see mean while here's is a shot of a typical low voltage power supply available anywhere.
