What does it mean when all i get are continous blinking green lights on the eject button on my original xbox console and nothing happens? no eject and no loading.
Sounds like a bad cable between the console and the TV, the XBOX is notorious for having issues if the cable isn't the correct one (a Microsoft one) or damaged.
the flash green with nothing else happening can be a failed bios.. coma console variant. It's possible to fix it with a chip, but uneconomic considering the price of a working box these days. It can also be a failed ide controller or bad ram..whatever, it's normally a scrapper with these symptoms unless you have a good junkbox...
If you have an xbox that fell it's always worth changing over the dvd drives, as they can cause weird faults as well, (as mentioned above re: unknown disks) as the green flashing is the usual "loading disk" message.

if there isn't a error code showing up on the screen then chances are your system is fried. You can put in a solderless mod chip for under $40 and save the system. Or you can go to the pawnshop and buy a used one. If you need more help let me know.

No it doesn't mean the console is ****. This could be related to several different issues and hasn't necessarily been pinpointed to one problem in particular. Two of the most common problems are with the x-clamps and cold solder points.
The x-clamps could be putting too much pressure on certain parts of the board now from all the wear of constant heating and cooling. This can be fixed using the X-Clamp fix and is fairly easy with the right tools.
Cold solder points basically means that points in the solder holding the chips on have cracked from rapid heating and cooling. This can be fixed with the simple "towel trick".
I would suggest trying the towel trick first as it is free and the simplest. Next I would suggest the X-Clamp fix. You can find guides to all of these with a simple google search. If neither of these works then it may be time to call for a new xbox, as it usually goes downhill from there. Good Luck!
