Question about Kenmore Dishwashers
It is possible that the cord has corroded where it connects to the unit inside.
If you are not familiar with electrical, I would suggest asking a friend or pro to open it up and have a look.
I expect that it will be an easy fix, but pro's generally have a minimum service call charge, so better have a knowledgable amateur look first.
