Question about Frigidaire ATF6000ES Front Load Washer
I had the same problem and what I did was open the back panel and cleaned out the pump. sometimes my kids will "underload" the washer and I'm convinced this lets air inside the pump, resulting in the "sucking" of air. Once the pump is cleaned and the water is out of the tank the pump "primes" itself and works like new.
If you are getting air in the pump you are using way too much soap. Over soaping will destroy the bearing in front loaders and that is a $600.00 repair.
