Hello. do you have a memory card in the phone ? If you do, try deleting some of the pictures or files off of the card. if this solves your problem, then just buy a bigger memory card. If you do not have a memory card, then there is a problem with the software on the phone. try updating the software version. If that does not help, then your phone needs to be serviced. I hope this helps. Dont forget to rate me. thanks ! bye

Atrix screen frozen

Usually with screen freezes you would want to take back off of phone and take battery out then keep out for 2-3 minutes and then put battery back in and power on phone. If your phone keeps freezing you might want to check the memory on your phone to see how much available memory you have left to see if you have used too much memory. If your phone memory is practically full then you might want to delete some pictures or apps off the phone so the phone will work properly and not freeze. Phones are more like computers today and they need memory to operate. If these too are not working. Then I would do a full factory data reset. If your not able to go to your settings due to freezing here are instructions on how to do it while the phone is off.

My motorola xt5 is freezing with the motorola batwing on the screen

I would try power cycling the phone first. I am not familar with this particular phone, but if you can remove the battery and hold the power button in for about 30 seconds with the battery out it should do it. I would then try powering it on and seeing it freezes. I would also check to see if there are any new software updates and also if you have recently done an update that may be causing problems. You could also try doing a factory reset on the phone as a last attempt.

Frozen

Hey, I had a similar problem where my krzr kept freezing up on me and i found a solution on another site. I had given up and was going to take it into a store tomorrow but this actually worked. Take the battery out and then hold the power key down for 15-30 seconds. This does a hard reboot of the phone. Then put the batter back in and turn it on. I didn't lose any of my info and it's working just fine now

Motorola Q9m frozen how can I get my contacts

I can't tell you how many times this phone has frozen, and unless you've been using a sync program, you're out of luck.

You can do a hard reset, which resets the phone to factory settings by removing the battery to shut down, then put the battery back in. Hold down the middle key on the silver directional pad while powering on. It takes 5-10 seconds but you will see the "Master Reset" option on your screen, follow the directions.

This happened all the time until I went to the Motorola site and did full phone update ( http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/Motosupport/source/SoftwareUpdateSelect.asp?country=USA&language=ENS ) Now my Q9m which used to freeze 1-2 times per month hasn't frozen in 6 months - good luck!

My phone is new but all of the sudden its freezes after 5 sec of turning it on.

Either the phone has a main board issue or some file corruption - hopefully for you its just the files that need to be reflashed.

If it's the board cost can be around $150-200 depending on the repair center - flashing costs $25-40

Have you had your phone updated lately if not call in to your cell phone company and ask them to do a up date on your phone and when they up date your cell phone turn off your cell phone and re-turn it back on.

If this dont work take your battery out leave out for 60 seconds and put battery back in and turn phone off and back on.
