Dnsdoor --

If you are burning from a "playlist", you may have multiple entrys on the list... you will have to right-click and remove first. If that is not the issue:

Are you using a media-player to also burn your disks (i.e. like iTunes or Windows Media Player? Are the files already .mp3 format? If so, try burning it manually... create a folder on your desktop that you can drag-and-drop the .mp3's into (be sure to "copy", not "move"). Then insert a blank CD, open My Computer, and drag your new folder "into" your CD-RW drive icon... follow the prompts to burn and you are done (be sure and choose to have the disk "finalized" or "closed", to be the most compatible with the player you are going to listen to it on)

Mp3's are just like any other file (i.e. .doc, .xls, etc) and can go straight to disk. If your files are still .wav, .aac, ogg, etc, you will wither need to use the appropriate app (i.e. iTunes for .aac files) to convert to mp3 and then burn.

If you have further issues, or would like to know more about file-conversion, post a comment to this thread and I'll be glad to assist you!

Hope this helps!

Audio formats supported by kenwood kdc 719

My older CD player accepted WAV files when I burned them as Audio CDs. (I was able to add CD-Text, even though my player can't read the text. The disc I added space between the tracks though didn't work properly.)

Then do a mastered burn (disc at once) and finalize the disc. I used CD Burner XP for burning the latest batch and Audacity to create the WAV files. I've also use Roxio Creator and Nero in the past.

I hope this helps.

(I'll admit there's one issue - I can't get the disc to stop between tracks. I was copying audio tapes to CD before more of my tapes broke.)

HOW TO DOWNLOAD AN ITUNES PLAYLIST TO A FLASHDRIVE ON A MAC

The only thing I could suggest is select the playlist then select burn playlist to disc and then from the interface that comes up select MP3 CD and then burn the disc and you should be able to copy the MP3 files to your flash drive. However, the problem you may have is if the tracks have been bought from itunes they may have digital rights management on them and you will not be able to burn them to disc.

When I try to play a CD I get an "err" message. Using store-bought CD's, not ones that have been copied. I have the Emerson PD6559BL portable CD player Love this CD player so I hope you...

Extract from your cd player manual:

"This CD player can play normal CDs p/us CD Recordable (CD-R)
and CD Rewriteable (CD-RW) discs. However the playability of CD-RIRW discs
may be affected by the type of software that was used in 'ripping' the tracks from
the original discs and 'burning' the tracks onto the blank media. Playability may
a/so be affected by the quality and condition of the blank media you use for
recording. 100% compatibility cannot be guaranteed, this is nof an indication of
any problems with your player."

So try to burn the disc with another software or buy different CD-r.
You also want to make sure that you Burned the tracks as audio files and not MP3 file, because your player can not read MP3s.

Hope this helps.

I just want to record straight to a cd & playback on most cd players? Thanks!

transfer those tracks to your pc.
use a CD burning software (eg. nero burning rom) by selecting audio cd format & add in the tracks you want & burn it into an audio disc.

No Valid Tracks or No Song Select

You cannot burn audio CDs from MP3 files. You have to burn MP3 files as a data CD and not as an audio CD. See excerpt taken from page 33 in the CDR420 user guide. "Prepares CDs that can be played on standard CD players. Compact Disc Digital Audio (CDDA) uses uncompressed PCM, .wav files. The CDR420 does not convert MP3 files to PCM so MP3 files are ignored if you choose AUDIO as the CD TYPE"

Stops repeatedly or skips tracks when playing back

Is this on DIVX you burned?
She only takes CBR ones and not VBR ones. (sound track.)
Convert with VirtualDub after studying procedure.

If not DIVX, lense could be dirty or unit passed away
