Question about Garmin zumo 550 GPS Receiver
How to fit. I use tankbag
I bought a threaded ball joint from ram mount, and drilled a hole through the top fork bracket, bolted the ball down with locktite and connected the short connector and back plate supplied with the mounting kit to the garmin mount, worked like a charm! It doesn't collide with the fairing/screen and isn't in the way of any other parts. I have a picture of my previous setup (garmin Quest II) on http://www.bee-data.nl/ click on the ducati logo.
I also use the same setup to fix a handycam on the bike.
