Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My IBM thinkpad X22 says no hard disk is installed

There was an issue with non-IBM hard disks not being recognized by the BIOS but the X22 wasn't on the list of models:

If you are able I would swap in a known good working IDE HDD and see if the bios message changes.

This is a sensor problem, the sensor is insite the printer and it needs to be disassamblied to change, you can try to press the front cover from left site and try then from right site and try, if it still work like this it needs adjustment only, if not the sensor need to be renewet by samsung!

Computer Drivers
On computer driver, if you lost your cd drive disc or broke the cd you can download them by doing the following steps:

1. Go to your manufactor's website.
2. There should be a search bar on the top of there website.
3. click in the search bar and enter your model number of the
computer or you can enter hardware model.
4. After you hit you come accross to technical support page click on
that.
5. There should be a word pertaining drivers click on that.
6. Finally, click download and download the correct version of driver for
your windows.

Ibm x22 doesnt recognise external DVD drive, keeps messaging saying could go faster on USB 2 port, but thats it

Did you check in the bios if your USB ports are configured as USB 2? That could fix it.
If not possible, try uninstalling the USB Root Hub devices in the device manager, that can fix some USB problems.

Try to clean the Cmos password from acer aspire 5315

What ever you do, do not use soap and water!!

Really, this is a little tough. There is a jumper someplace close to the cmos battery that will allow you to clear the password. First thing you have to do is find the cmos battery, and it could be under the keyboard, or under a cover on the bottom of the machine.

Looked for a service manual for you, but unable to come up with one.
