Question about Dishwashers
Remove all components from the lower spray arm down to the deck noting the position and orientation of each part. At the bottom, remove a large screen--soak it in a hot water and white vinegar solution (5 to 1 ratio) for an hour or two. Scrub the screen to remove water and food deposits. Disconnect the drain hose under the sink and blow through it with either compressed air or a vacuum cleaner set to blow in order to remove any debris in the hose or pump. Reassemble the components in reverse order and test the repair with a trial run--no dishes.
