Sound problem asus p525 (by 11 users)

I had the same problem.. I tired a lot by Connecting and reconnecting earphone plug for couple of times but it dint work…I got frustrated and annoyed due to this I inserted a ear bud in the jack without the soft cotton hardly and I took it back……!!! Amazing result it was working again …. I m happy now and I sold the phone with in a day….

i also have the same problem ..........m stayin india....i gav it for repairs...then i got it back ..it was woeking...then after a long time it agian went wrong wid the same problem....if u give it for repairing they will change the whole motherboard....so just a caution...

I've lost sound after using the headset. It works only with headset now. No solutions yet.

I have the same problem. When it happened first time, sound wasn't working for couple of hours and then it repaired (or maybe I've repaired it somehow) but second time it doesn't. I was calling to ASUS center in my country (Poland) but they couldn't tell me what is wrong, and they just say to ship phone to them. By the way, the problem happened when I disconect the earphones I suppose.
